the inner workings
an increase in productivity is dependent on inside matter.. thus a worthwhile exercise would be to deconstruct internal motivations - looking to see the 'why'

november - cleaning up and having vision
Tuesday, 21 November 2006

cleaning up and having vision

i am in the process of cleaning up this year's garden.  while cleaning, i am also planning next year's garden and preparing for winter-time activities.

this installment of jambican radio is 'cleaning up and having vision'. - where vision is defined as ' a mental image of what the future will or could be like'

the process of cleaning up is essential for those who need vision.  whether it be an internal cleanse, or an external cleanse, an emotional cleanse, or a spiritual cleanse - a good cleansing allows 'ways' to be seen..

october - root development

october - root development
in northern climes where the ground freezes, we are able to deconstruct the concept of nutrient storage in anticipation of dormancy, where dormancy can be defined as a state of being alive but not actively growing..

the roots are where these nutrients are stored.

in terms of this particular exercise of deconstruction, i prefer this definition of root -
the part of a thing attaching it to a greater or more fundamental whole

in a hostile environment a thing's survival depends on the fitness of its roots

first market day
Wednesday, 26 July 2006

the ottawa farmers' market
our first day at the ottawa farmers' market occurred during its fourth week of operation.
still being a little early in the season for us, we nonetheless did well with what we carried.

we are currently offering salad mix, fresh herbs (sweet basil, lemon basil, cinnamon basil), beets, turnips, snap peas, walking onions, calaloo, some potted annuals and herbs.

during the three final weeks in August the central canada exhibition will take over the market's space, but during this time we will continue to deliver tote bags of produce.  the fall season will resume in september and run until the end of october.

march - transformation

march - transformation

another end
another beginning
somewhat comforting
always refreshing
 - it’s very nature

if you can
observe as much of nature as possible
it operates much faster
than we can be led to believe
particularly
during radical transformations
as this one

afrikan resurrection productions

When certain information is not to be found in libraries and other similar places, it has become commonplace and  necessary to seek out certain people for their knowledge of history and current events.

Equally important is their ability to relate these happenings to the deeper currents of earthly existence.
